According to the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), flight operations have resumed at Lahore, Islamabad, and Sialkot airports.
PAA has requested passengers to stay in touch with their respective airlines for information related to their flights.
Earlier today, the Pakistan Airports Authority had temporarily suspended flight operations at Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot airports due to operational reasons. These airports were not available until 6 PM today. Flight operations at Islamabad International Airport had also been temporarily suspended due to operational issues.
Meanwhile, aviation sources have stated that due to the India-Pakistan tension, air operations at Lahore and Sialkot airports have been suspended. Over 40 flights at airports including Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad have been cancelled.
Aviation sources further confirmed that flights from Bahrain, Sharjah, Dubai, Medina, Muscat, and Jeddah heading to Lahore were diverted to Karachi, while a foreign airline’s flight from Dubai to Islamabad was redirected to Quetta. Additionally, a flight from Ras Al Khaimah to Lahore was returned to Ras Al Khaimah.
