A new feeder shipping service has been launched from Karachi Port, Pakistan’s economic hub, to the United Arab Emirates, strengthening maritime trade links between the two countries.
According to Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, a regular shipping service has been initiated from Karachi Gateway Terminal to Fujairah and Khor Fakkan, and the first feeder ship has already arrived at Karachi Gateway Terminal.
He stated that the launch of this feeder service will further strengthen shipping connectivity between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates and support the growth of maritime trade in the region.
Officials said that the direct container shipping connection between Karachi and the ports of Fujairah and Khor Fakkan will provide Pakistani exporters and importers easier and faster access to the global shipping network.
This development is being viewed as an important step toward expanding trade activities and enhancing connectivity with regional ports.
