The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of rainfall in the northern and central regions of the country during the next two days.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a chance of western winds entering the upper and central regions of the country from May 16, which could lead to strong winds and rainfall.
The Meteorological Department has stated that thunderstorms accompanied by rain are likely to occur in Azad Kashmir and most areas of Gilgit-Baltistan on May 17 and 18. Cloudy weather with rainfall is also expected in Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan, Kohat, Bajaur, Karam, and Waziristan.
As per the Meteorological Department, Islamabad, Murree, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal, Gujranwala, and Faisalabad are also expected to receive rainfall. Meanwhile, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Khushab, Okara, and Lahore may experience strong winds and rainfall.
According to the Meteorological Department, Balochistan, southern Punjab, and upper Sindh may also experience strong winds and rainfall during May 16 and 17.
