Lahore’s Counterterrorism Court presents 17 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI),women, including Khadija Shah and Yasmeen Rashid, for the prevention of terrorism activities.
The hearing of the case involving the siege, encirclement, and vandalism at Jinnah House is underway at the Counterterrorism Court in Lahore. The police have brought 17 PTI women, including Yasmeen Rashid, Khadija Shah, and Sanam Javed, to court.
The police will present an inspection report in the court. The physical remand of the 13 women involved in the attack on Jinnah House has been completed. The police had obtained physical remand for inspection and conducting a photo graphometric test.
It should be remembered that intense protests were held across the country on May 9 against the arrest of the PTI chairman. Mischief-makers had also vandalized Jinnah House in Lahore and set it on fire. Subsequently, the police arrested the individuals involved in the attack and the case against them is under hearing at the Counterterrorism Court in Lahore.
