Islamabad: The Session Court has ordered the arrest of Shahbaz Gul, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, and the blocking of his identification card in a case related to conflicting statements about institutions.
According to details, the Session Court has initiated proceedings to issue an advertisement declaring Shahbaz Gul as a proclaimed offender in a case related to conflicting statements about institutions.
Additional Session Judge Tahir Abbas Supra instructed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to arrest Shahbaz Gul and present him before the court, regardless of which airport he is seen at in Pakistan.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra also ordered Chairman NADRA to block Shahbaz Gul’s identification card, stating that they do not want to delay the trial of the case intentionally.
The judge of the Session Court stated that an advertisement should be published outside the residence of Shahbaz Gul in Islamabad, Faisalabad.
The court ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Faisalabad and Islamabad to submit a report on Shahbaz Gul’s properties within 30 days and initiate the process of issuing the advertisement, while other reports should be requested by July 26.
During the hearing, the ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) also submitted an implementation report on the non-bailable warrant of Shahbaz Gul. ASI Asif Awan informed that an attempt was made to arrest Shahbaz Gul according to the warrant. Shahbaz Gul intentionally left for America.
