Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expelled 7 more municipal representatives from the party for not participating in the Karachi mayoral election.
PTI has removed municipal representatives from the party for not participating in the Karachi mayoral election, bringing the total number of expelled representatives to 24.
PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh has issued a notification regarding the expulsion of 7 more municipal representatives from the party. The decision to expel the representatives was made on the recommendation of an investigative committee established for the purpose.
Among those expelled from the party are Shah Faisal, Abdul Rahman Khan, Tahir Parvez from the President’s Town, Atif Hayat from Manghopir, Manid-ur-Rehman, Hyatullah from Sohrab Goth, and Amjad Hussain and Daulat Khan from Korangi.
According to the notification, a letter has also been written to the party’s Secretary-General to terminate the party membership of all members.
It should be noted that previously 17 municipal representatives were expelled from the party for making decisions against the party’s policy, and now a notification has been issued to expel 24 municipal representatives from the party.
