The Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court has ordered the transfer of PTI Chairman to Adiala Jail, stating that according to the law, under-trial prisoners in Islamabad are kept in Adiala Jail.
In the Islamabad High Court, a hearing was held on the request of Chairman PTI to be transferred from Attock to Adiala Jail. The Additional Attorney General said that the order related to Chairman PTI in the cipher case was of Attock Jail.
Chief Justice Aamer Farooq remarked that the order was made because the PTI Chairman was in Attock Jail at that time. Under-trial prisoners from Islamabad are kept in Attock Jail. When the sentence was given, it was probably decided how long he would be kept there, which is why the transfer was made to Attock . Now the sentence has been suspended and PTI chairman is under trial prisoner.
The Chief Justice said that Chairman PTI is a former Prime Minister and an educated person, you should send him to Rahim Yar Khan tomorrow? If Rahim Yar Khan is transferred tomorrow, will the trial be conducted there? .
