Karachi: The dead body of former President and Army Chief General (retd) Pervez Musharraf will be brought to Karachi today. A special plane will arrive at Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai to take his body.
The former president died on Sunday morning at the American Hospital in Dubai at the age of 79 after a prolonged illness. Pervez Musharraf was suffering from amyloidosis.
Pervez Musharraf was undergoing treatment at the American Hospital in Dubai since March 18, 2016. Pervez Musharraf will be laid to rest in Karachi.
A plane from Pakistan will arrive in Dubai today to take the dead body of the former president. The special plane will arrive at Dubai’s Al Maktoum Airport from Noor Khan Air Base.
