ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that he will decide to contest elections when the time comes, If I contest the election, I will contest on the ticket of Muslim League (N) and if I do not get the ticket, then I will not contest the election.
He said in an interview that I am with the Muslim League (N) and I have been with the same party since the first day and perhaps today I am one of the oldest members of the party. By the grace of God, there were many stages but I remained with the party.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that they can go to their homes from this party, no other home is ours. My leader is Nawaz Sharif and the president of the party is Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz is my leader and neither Maryam Nawaz claims that she is the leader of the party.
He said that if Maryam Nawaz comes to the position of party president tomorrow, then it will be my decision whether I can continue in the party or not and whether I want to do politics or not and my politics is within the Muslim League (N).
