Multan: In the opening match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8, Lahore Qalandars have set Multan Sultans a target of 176 runs to win thanks to Fakhar Zaman’s brilliant batting.
In the match being played at Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan Sultans won the toss and invited Lahore Qalandars to bat, who scored 175 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Fakhar Zaman scored 66 runs off 42 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 3 fours while Mirza Baig scored 32 runs, Shai Hope 19, Kamran Ghulam 3, Sikander Raza 19 and Hussain Talat scored 20 runs.
Osama Mir was the most successful bowler for Multan Sultans who took 2 wickets for 25 runs in 4 overs and Ehsanullah also got 2 wickets while Aqeal Hussain dismissed one wicket.
