In the second match of the 8th edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Peshawar Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings by two runs after a thrilling encounter.
In pursuit of Peshawar Zalmi’s target of 200 runs, Karachi Kings managed to score 197 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated overs.

In the first innings, Tom Koehler missed his century on behalf of Zalmi, but managed to give the opponent a big target by playing an innings of 92 runs off 50 balls, in addition to this, captain Babar Azam scored 68 runs and James Neesham scored 16 runs.
In bowling, Mir Hamza, Ben Cutting and Andrew Tye managed to take one wicket each on behalf of Karachi Kings.

In the second innings, captain Imad Wasim scored an unbeaten 80, Shoaib Malik scored 52 runs and Matthew Wade scored 23 runs on behalf of Karachi Kings. Peshawar Zalmi’s James Neesham, Wahab Riaz, two, two while Salman Irshad managed to guide one player to the pavilion.
