The Supreme Court’s constitutional bench has scheduled important cases for hearing next week.
The cases include the petitions filed by the founder of PTI regarding the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the May 9 incident and election rigging in the general elections of February 8, which will be heard on December 11.
The hearing on the petition to form a judicial commission to investigate the May 9 incident will also occur on December 10.
The petition against the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja will also be heard on December 11.
The petitions challenging the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Ordinance have been scheduled for hearing on December 12.
The suo motu case regarding the killing of journalist Arshad Sharif has been set for hearing on December 9.
The petitions concerning civilian trials in military courts are also scheduled for hearing on December 9.
The contempt of court case against the founder of PTI for violating the court orders of May 25 is set for hearing on December 10.
The hearing on the petition against the registration of cases against PTI leaders will also occur on December 10.
