Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam showered praise on rising star Saim Ayub following his match-winning performance in the recently concluded third ODI against South Africa.
Taking to Instagram, Babar shared a photo of the young opener, who scored his second century of the series, captioning it: ‘Cheetah,’ a nod to Ayub’s swift and fearless style of play.
Saim Ayub scored 101 runs in the third ODI, using 94 balls and hitting 13 fours and 2 sixes, and also won the Player of the Match award.
The young opening batter, Saim Ayub, scored a total of 235 runs in this ODI series and also took 2 wickets.
Babar Azam described the series win against South Africa as a great joy and pride for Pakistan.
