The advisory states that these elements are misleading the public through deceptive messages, phishing schemes, and false stories, attempting to create uncertainty.
The advisory advises against sharing unverified information or rumors about cyber attacks on Pakistan on social media, urging users not to click on suspicious links.
The National Cyber Emergency Response Team has also advised not to open unverified messages, emails, or social media links, and to obtain updates only from reliable sources, official or emergency channels.
The advisory warns the public not to believe rumors on WhatsApp or social media.
