Japan has expressed deep concern over the airstrikes conducted by India on Pakistani citizens late at night.
According to sources, Japan has urged both countries to exercise restraint and resolve the situation through dialogue.
Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga warned that the India-Pakistan tensions could lead to retaliatory actions, potentially escalating into a full military conflict. He called on both Pakistan and India to resolve the current crisis through negotiations.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump condemned the Indian attacks as “shameful” and responded strongly. Following him, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also blamed India for the escalation and expressed deep concern over the attacks on Pakistan.
China also expressed regret over India’s actions, stating that the current situation is concerning. Chinese officials mentioned that India and Pakistan are not only neighbors to each other but also China, urging both countries to show responsibility and work towards reducing tensions.
