Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon visited the Jam Sadiq Bridge in Karachi and announced the completion timeline of the project. During the visit, he also reviewed the ongoing development work of the Yellow Line BRT project. Engineers, consultants, and other officials briefed the minister on the progress of the initiatives.
Speaking to the media, Sharjeel Memon stated that the Jam Sadiq Bridge has entered its final phase and will be completed within a week. He emphasized that the Pakistan Peoples Party is committed to providing facilities to the public, with several transport projects already underway. He further revealed that double-decker buses will soon arrive in Karachi to improve the city’s transport network.
Criticizing the federal government over the wheat shortage, Memon remarked that the federation should not consider itself the sole authority on the issue. He clarified that the Pakistan Peoples Party is not a coalition partner of the PML-N but only extends support where necessary.
Transport Secretary Asad Zaman and the Project Director of the Yellow Line BRT accompanied the senior minister during the visit.
