Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that construction has now begun on the ruins left behind by the previous government, indicating a gradual move toward stability and improvement.
In a statement, Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan’s position is now being acknowledged on important national and international matters, adding that the country is entering 2026 with dignity and pride as a result of current policies.
He reiterated that the ruins left by the previous government are now being transformed into a foundation for development and progress, with positive outcomes gradually emerging.
Meanwhile, Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani said that the language used for Pakistan at diplomatic and other international forums reflects a major success for the country and signifies the restoration of global confidence.
Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon also said that it is encouraging news for Pakistan that, due to current policies and the role of the Army Chief, the country is gaining recognition on the global stage, highlighting a positive shift in Pakistan’s international standing.
