Earthquake tremors were felt in various areas of Sindh and Balochistan, causing panic among residents, although no loss of life or property has been reported so far.
According to the Seismological Center, multiple tremors were recorded in Khuzdar and its surrounding areas with a magnitude of 5.6. The epicenter of the earthquake was located approximately 86 kilometers northeast of Khuzdar.
In Khuzdar, the first tremor was felt at 10:52 AM, followed by another at 11:30 AM, prompting residents to step out of their homes and offices as a precautionary measure.
Tremors were also reported in Naseerabad, Gandawah, Sibi, Kachhi, Jhal Magsi, and nearby areas, creating a temporary sense of fear and uncertainty among the public.
In Sindh province, tremors were felt in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Dadu, Mehar, and adjoining regions. However, authorities confirmed that no casualties or significant damage have been reported.
Officials stated that the situation is being closely monitored and relevant departments remain on alert to respond to any emergency if required.
