Air travel between Pakistan and Middle Eastern countries continues to face severe disruption due to the ongoing conflict in the region, with several flights cancelled again today.
According to reports, the Iran war has entered its eleventh day and as a result 85 flights from Pakistan to Middle Eastern destinations have been cancelled today, while another 56 flights are also likely to be cancelled.
Flight schedules show that 26 flights from Karachi to Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi have already been cancelled, while another 10 flights may also face cancellation, causing significant inconvenience for passengers.
Similarly, 18 flights from Lahore to different Middle Eastern cities have been cancelled, although operations of 10 flights are still expected.
In Islamabad, air operations have also been affected as 20 flights have been cancelled so far, while 11 flights are still expected to depart.
According to aviation sources, since the beginning of the Iran war the total number of cancelled flights from Pakistan to the Middle East has reached around 1600, significantly disrupting air travel and affecting thousands of passengers.
