The School Education and Literacy Department has imposed a ban on transfers and postings, temporarily halting new appointments and reassignments across key educational positions.
According to the notification, postings and transfers of DDOs, headmasters, principals, and senior principals have been restricted to ensure administrative and financial discipline.
The notification states that in cases of promotion or appointment against vacant positions, a certificate of budget utilization or non-utilization will be mandatory to ensure financial transparency.
It further specifies that the certificate must be verified by the Accountant General Sindh or the relevant District Accounts Officer before any appointment is finalized.
The restriction will remain in place until the completion of the School Specific Budget for the fiscal year 2025-26, after which the situation may be reviewed.
