Ayaz Shaukat has resigned from the position of Advocate General Islamabad and has formally submitted his resignation to President Asif Ali Zardari, confirming his departure from the role.
In his statement, Ayaz Shaukat said that the government has appointed a Chairman of the Social Media Authority, following which he decided to step down from his position.
He further stated that he made every effort to perform his duties as Advocate General Islamabad with honesty and professionalism, striving to handle legal matters effectively during his tenure.
