Islamabad: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, will appear before the High Court today in a £190 million scandal. Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi is also expected to appear in the accountability court today.
Chairman PTI, Imran Khan, will present a bail plea in court today in the £190 million scandal. A division bench of Islamabad High Court, comprising Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Saman Rifat, will hear Imran Khan’s bail request in the NCA scandal involving £190 million.
In anticipation of Imran Khan’s arrival, strict security arrangements have been directed by the Inspector General of Police (IGP). Access to the courtroom for lawyers and journalists will be through special passes, while the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has compiled a list of 14 members of the legal and investigation team to issue special passes, which are kept at the registrar’s office.
In addition, there is a possibility that Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, will also appear in the accountability court today in the £190 million case, and she will file a request for interim bail in court.
