Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has stated that those claiming the deaths of 25 people should inform us where they have died. We will abide by the law and act accordingly.
Mohsin Naqvi, the Chief Minister of Punjab, while speaking to the media in Lahore, mentioned that the Inspector General of Punjab has provided a detailed briefing on the issue of violence against women. The Inspector General of Punjab was accompanied by the Inspector General of Prisons and the Women’s SS Police.
Mohsin Naqvi said that it is being said every day that 25 people have died. If this is true, then we should also be informed about the names of the deceased individuals. We will proceed according to the law.
They further stated, “We are also have mothers and sisters. Currently, we have 11 women with us, but we cannot introduce them to you, otherwise, you can ask them yourself. It is not right to accuse mothers and sisters in this manner. One should have some decency.”
Mohsin Naqvi said that there was an issue with the pricing of medicines. I am not saying that medicines should be expensive, but somewhere or the other, a difference will be made.
