Registrar’s office has raised objections in the Supreme Court regarding the application filed for declaring the President of the country ineligible.
According to the objections raised by the Registrar’s office, it was stated that the President of the country cannot be made a party under Article 248, and the application does not mention anything related to public interest.
The objections further stated that the points related to Section 184(3) are not satisfactory, and the relevant form for filing the application has not been followed. Additionally, the name of the lawyer who drafted the application has also not been mentioned.
The application for declaring the President ineligible was filed by a citizen named Imtiyaz.
