Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information, Maryam Aurangzeb, has stated that no political leader should be sidelined, but it is essential to understand the difference between a political leader and a criminal.
In a statement, Maryam Aurangzeb said, “We are not giving extensions to people confined to closed rooms, be it General (Retd.) Faiz or anyone else. Whoever is involved in this mission should face consequences.”
She further stated, “When she says that there was no rape in jail, it is not true. When every attempt of hers failed, she is now saying to cut off Pakistan’s military support and impose sanctions.”
The Minister for Information emphasized that it is not the right of any political leader to be sidelined, but it is necessary to understand the distinction between a political leader and a criminal.
