An application was filed in the Lahore High Court for legal action against those who did not disclose the Tosha Khana gifts in the election commission papers.
Lahore-based advocate Nadeem Sarwar has filed a petition in Lahore High Court requesting legal action against those who did not disclose their assets in the documents of the Election Commission.
The petition contends that in the matter of not disclosing assets in the Election Commission documents, the Election Commission demonstrated bias, as legal action was taken against only one individual.
Presenting their stance in the petition, it is argued that the Election Commission treated favorably and unfavorably in the case of Toshakhana issue, and there should be equal treatment towards members of the assembly who took gifts but did not disclose them.
The petitioner has urged the court to order legal action against members of the assembly who did not disclose Toshakhana’s gifts.
