Lahore: Raids for the arrest of former Minister Zartaj Gul are underway due to allegations of corruption, with Zartaj Gul and her husband being accused of taking commissions in various development projects.
According to the details, raids are going on on behalf of anti-corruption to arrest the former minister of state Zartaj Gul, the spokesperson said that anti-corruption has formed a special team to arrest Zartaj Gul.
The spokesperson stated that Zartaj Gul and her husband are accused of taking commissions in various development projects. A citizen had tipped off about irregularities in schemes on Zartaj Gul’s behalf.
Yesterday, an anti-corruption case was registered against PTI’s former Federal Minister Zartaj Gul on allegations of corruption, kickbacks and embezzlement in development projects.
In this regard, the sources said that the anti-corruption department team raided his house in DG Khan to arrest Zartaj Gul.
PTI female leader Zartaj Gul was not present at her house at the time of the raid, Zartaj Gul was summoned several times for inquiry on allegations of corruption, commission, kickbacks.
