The Islamabad High Court suspended the punishment of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the Tosha Khana case and ordered him to be released on bail.
Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Justice Aamer Farooq, has granted an order for the release of PTI Chairman Imran Khan on bail while suspending the sentence in the Tosha khana case.
The court had earlier announced the suspension of the sentence against the Chairman of PTI based on the request for suspension of sentence in the Tosha khana case, following the arguments presented by the lawyers of Latif Khosa and the Election Commission.
The case of the suspension of sentence for the Chairman of PTI, Imran Khan, has seen a reserved verdict.
Trial Court Judge Humayun Dilawar on August 5 sentenced PTI Chairman to 3 years imprisonment, 5 years disqualification and a fine of Rs 100,000.
After the sentence in the Tosha khana case, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been in detention for the past 25 days. The Election Commission had filed a private complaint against the Chairman of PTI.
