In interbank trading, the US dollar began at PKR 291.70, according to Forex dealers. They report a decrease of 8 paise in the value of the dollar.
At the close of business in the interbank market yesterday, the dollar was down by 10 paise and closed at PKR 292.78. Additionally, in the open market, the value of the dollar remains steady at PKR 296.
On the other hand, the Caretaker Minister for Commerce Guhar Ijaz has predicted that the value of the dollar will reach 260 rupees.
During a joint press conference with the Minister of Energy in Lahore, Guhar Ijaz stated our efforts are focused on putting Pakistan on its feet. The textile industry is aligned with the government, and energy is our biggest challenge.
Federal Minister Guhar Ijaz predicted the arrival of the dollar at PKR 260, saying that today the exchange rate stands at PKR 260. If anyone has withheld dollars, they should submit them, and those with US currency should convert it.
