New York: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that Canada is not creating aggression against India or causing issues, but it’s a matter of the rule of law.
Speaking to the media in New York, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau mentioned that a Canadian citizen was murdered on Canadian soil and they have substantial evidence implicating agents of the Indian government in the murder.
He emphasized that the rule of law holds immense and fundamental importance for any country, and in Canada, the justice system works best and operates freely, following the case as required.
Justine Trudeau said they take the protection of Canadian citizens, whether within or outside the country, extremely seriously and will ensure that the Canadian system is respected.
He remarked that the killing of a Sikh separatist leader is a serious matter, and it should be taken seriously, and they are doing just that.
