According to an official report in Saudi Arabia, the crackdown on illegal residents has begun, and within a week, 11,400 individuals have been apprehended.
According to the report of Khaleej Times, operations were carried out by the Saudi security forces across the country from September 21 to 27.
The newspaper said with reference to the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia that 11 thousand 465 people were arrested in these operations.
These individuals were arrested for various violations, including residency and labor laws, as well as violations of border security regulations.
Out of the total arrests, 7,199 individuals were caught for residing illegally and violating the country’s residency system.
Among the arrested, 2,882 individuals violated border security laws, apprehended by the security forces.
1384 people who violated the labor laws of Saudi Arabia are also among those arrested.
