Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, has officially announced a motion of no confidence against Mayor Karachi, Murtaza Wahab.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, he stated that efforts were made to run the city council session smoothly, but the behavior of the People’s Party Mayor is evident to the public. Today, cooperation was sought in the session to initiate actions for resolving the city’s issues.
Hafiz Naeem said that KElectric Karachi is an enemy organization, collecting municipal tax in electricity bills is an enemy of Karachi, they will not tolerate atrocities on the people of Karachi.
He said that without polling the government resolution in the council, it was approved by majority vote, fascism and radical thinking can no longer go on.
He said that through the motion of no confidence, the Mayor will send Karachi home and the Karachi Commissioner will belong to Jamaat-e-Islami.
