US President Joe Biden says that Israel’s support is beginning to end due to the indiscriminate bombing of Gaza. He stated, “Gaza will neither be ‘Hamastan’ nor ‘Fatahstan.'”
The American President’s remark has come to light after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu once again emphasized the commitment to destroy Hamas and recover Israeli captives in Gaza. The United States is aligned with Israeli objectives in eliminating Hamas and retrieving hostages in Gaza.
According to the news agency Reuters, Joe Biden said during a fundraising event in Washington, he is starting to lose this support.
The US president also said that Benjamin Netanyahu needs to change his hard-line government.
Netanyahu has also indicated that there is a difference of opinion between the United States and Israel regarding what may follow after the Gaza conflict. This is because Tel Aviv predicts that after the Gaza war, Washington may not support the return of the Western-backed Palestinian Authority led by President Mahmoud Abbas to Gaza.
He said that Gaza will be neither Hamasistan nor Fatahistan.
He added, “I want to make my position clear. I will not allow Israel to repeat the mistake of Oslo.”
