Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) challenged the appointment of Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Raza Naqvi in the Supreme Court. PTI claims Mohsin Naqvi has no expertise in running government.
PTI as a political party and Asad Umar filed a petition against the appointment of Mohsin Naqvi as General Secretary.
The plea urges the apex court to stop Mohsin Naqvi from working as the interim chief minister.
PTI has requested the Supreme Court to declare the notification of appointment of Mohsin Naqvi as caretaker Chief Minister as unconstitutional.
It should be remembered that PTI and Muslim League (Q) had announced to challenge the decision of the Election Commission on the appointment of caretaker Punjab Chief Minister in the Supreme Court.
