All Karachi Milk Retailers Welfare Association has indicated the increase in milk prices.President Karachi Mubasher Qadeer Abbasi has said that an increase of 50 rupees per liter in the price of milk is expected very soon.
According to the Milk Retailers Welfare Association, the increasing production cost of milk, Due to rising cattle prices and low production per animal and government inattention, the price per liter of milk will increase.
He said that it is necessary that the Commissioner Karachi should immediately issue a notification of new prices according to the production cost of milk, otherwise the stakeholders will automatically increase the prices after consultation from May 10.
