During the police operation, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s wife, Bushra Bibi, fled in a vehicle, while workers also managed to escape.
Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi were in vehicles near Kalsoom Plaza in the Blue Area, with a small number of PTI protesters gathered near their cars.
According to security sources, Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur fled from the D-Chowk area in the same vehicle.
Bushra Bibi’s vehicle was directed towards the KP House, and Islamabad Police’s squad is pursuing her truck.
As the leadership fled, workers also abandoned their vehicles and dispersed towards residential sectors of Islamabad, leaving Jinnah Avenue and Seventh Avenue.
During the Khyber Chowk and Kalsoom Plaza operation, police reinstalled all removed containers. The central PTI container caught fire, and over 450 workers were taken into custody.
