Apple is expected to introduce its most affordable smartphone of the year, the iPhone 17e, in February 2026, with details about its pricing now emerging.
According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple may unveil the new iPhone 17e on February 19. The device is expected to replace last year’s iPhone 16e in the company’s product lineup.
The report suggests that the iPhone 17e will be priced at 599 dollars, the same price at which the iPhone 16e was launched. In recent months, concerns had been raised about a possible price increase due to shortages in RAM chips, but Apple appears likely to maintain the existing price level.
Sources indicate that the iPhone 17e will remain largely similar to the iPhone 16e, with only limited upgrades. The most notable change is expected to be the inclusion of the A19 chipset, replacing the A18 chipset used in the previous model. In addition, MagSafe support is also expected to be added.
Industry observers believe the iPhone 17e will not be a major upgrade, which explains how Apple may be able to keep its price unchanged despite rising component costs.
It is important to note that Apple has not officially announced any details regarding the iPhone 17e, making it uncertain whether the device will indeed be launched on February 19.
