The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released a new promo featuring the Pakistan cricket team on its social media platforms.
With only a short time left until the start of the ICC Champions Trophy, excitement is building. The tournament’s opening match is scheduled for February 19 at Karachi’s National Stadium, where defending champions Pakistan will face New Zealand.
In the newly released promo, Pakistani cricketers can be seen wearing the latest Champions Trophy kit. Aggressive opening batter Fakhar Zaman, Salman Ali Agha, and captain Mohammad Rizwan make an entrance in the promo video. Meanwhile, fast bowlers Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Babar Azam celebrate uniquely, while Usman Khan pays tribute to the Pakistani flag.
It is worth mentioning that last month, ICC released the official promo for the Champions Trophy, featuring players from all participating nations, with Pakistani cricketers prominently highlighted. The promo adopts a “Mission Impossible” theme, showing players climbing a rooftop in pursuit of the trophy. Among the featured stars are Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan, India’s Hardik Pandya, England’s Phil Salt, and Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi.
