New Zealand fast bowler Lockie Ferguson has been ruled out of the event ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy.
He suffered leg pain during the warm-up match, and according to New Zealand Cricket’s medical panel, Ferguson will not be fit for the Champions Trophy.
Kyle Jamieson has been included in the New Zealand squad in place of Lockie Ferguson. It is noteworthy that a few days ago, Kiwi bowler Ben Seers was also ruled out of the event due to injury.
It should be noted that tomorrow, the first match of the ICC Champions Trophy will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand.
