Finland Remains the Happiest Country in the World for the 8th Consecutive Year.
On the occasion of International Happiness Day, celebrated on March 20, a global ranking of the happiest countries has been released with the support of the United Nations.
The list includes 147 countries, with Finland securing the top position as the world’s happiest country for the eighth consecutive year.
Pakistan ranks 109th, dropping one spot from last year’s 108th position. Meanwhile, India has improved by eight places, moving from 126th to 118th.
The ranking is based on data from global surveys conducted between 2022 and 2024, considering factors like per capita income, life expectancy, social support, freedom, generosity, and corruption levels.
