Arrest warrants have been issued for actress Nazish Jahangir over allegations of breach of trust.
A judicial magistrate at Lahore’s Cantt Kacheri has issued the arrest warrants, ordering Defence-C police to arrest and present her before the court.
The case against the actress was filed by a man named Aswad Haroon from the Defence area. The case includes charges of breach of trust, fraud, and issuing threats.
The court has also issued arrest warrants for Nazish Jahangir, Sikandar Khan, and other accused individuals. The complainant has submitted the warrants to Defence-C police.
The court has ordered the actress and other accused to appear on March 22.
It is noteworthy that last year, rising actor Azaan Aswad Haroon claimed that renowned actress Nazish Jahangir deceived him by promising to introduce him to the showbiz industry, took money from him, obtained a car, and later had him assaulted.
Aswad Haroon stated that Nazish Jahangir initially took 1.5 million rupees from him and then demanded more. Under false pretenses, she asked for a car, and he gave her a Honda car worth 5.5 million rupees. Additionally, she frequently had him arrange air tickets for her.
He further alleged that when he demanded his money back, the actress called him to a farmhouse, where armed men held him hostage and physically assaulted him. Following this, he filed a fraud case against Nazish at the Defence-C police station, mentioning the money and car in the complaint.
