Karachi: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued new guidelines for passengers.
According to PIA, due to the current situation, flight operations have been partially suspended, and passengers are advised to obtain advance information regarding their flights.
A PIA spokesperson stated that passengers should contact the call centers or nearby booking offices for flight information.
It is important to note that after India’s cowardly attacks, Pakistani airspace has been closed, leading several airlines to either cancel or change their flight routes.
Asian airlines have announced that flights to and from Europe are either being canceled or their routes are being altered. Taiwan’s EVA Air mentioned that it is adjusting its flight routes to avoid the affected airspace.
It is also noted that as a result of the Indian attack, two mosques were destroyed, while 26 Pakistani citizens, including a child, were martyred and 46 were injured. The Pakistan Army responded strongly by downing three Rafale jets, one Sukhoi, one MiG-29, and a drone, while also destroying the Indian brigade headquarters.
