US Vice President JD Vance stated that America will not interfere in any war that does not concern it. He made it clear that the US cannot become a party to a conflict between Pakistan and India.
In an interview with an American TV channel, JD Vance said the Pakistan-India dispute should be resolved as soon as possible and must not escalate into a nuclear conflict, as such an outcome would be catastrophic.
He further said that if India attacks and Pakistan responds, the US would not be able to control either nation. The US cannot command either India or Pakistan to surrender their weapons.
The US Vice President added that when two nuclear powers clash, it is always a matter of concern. We hope tensions are reduced as quickly as possible. We can only hope and encourage both countries to make efforts toward de-escalation.
JD Vance stated that the US may adopt a diplomatic approach. The Pakistan-India tension is a matter of serious concern, and both nations should approach the situation with a cool head.
