Islamabad: The Meteorological Department has forecasted chances of thunderstorms and rainfall in various regions of the country, while most areas are expected to remain extremely hot and dry.
According to the department, rainfall is expected in several upper Punjab areas, including Murree, Galiyat, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, and Lahore.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central regions such as Mansehra, Abbottabad, Chitral, Shangla, Dir, Swat, Malakand, and Kohistan are likely to experience thunderstorms accompanied by rain and strong winds.
Meanwhile, parts of Gilgit-Baltistan are also expected to receive thunderstorms and rain, while most areas of Azad Kashmir are likely to see pleasant weather due to expected rainfall.
On the other hand, most districts of Sindh will remain under intense heat, with temperatures expected to reach up to 44°C in Turbat and Sibi, 46°C in Nawabshah, and 47°C in Dadu.
