According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Karachi and most parts of Sindh are expected to experience extremely hot, humid, and dry weather today, with chances of dusty winds and light rain at some locations.
The department has warned that Karachi’s temperature may exceed 41°C today, accompanied by high humidity levels. The humidity ratio is forecasted to be 80% in the morning and 60% in the evening, making the weather feel particularly oppressive.
Moist winds continue to prevail in eastern parts of Sindh, resulting in the possibility of dust storms and light rain with thunder in Karachi’s suburban areas. Additionally, stronger-than-usual winds are predicted for Wednesday or Thursday in the city.
Light rain with thunder is also expected in parts of Tharparkar, Umerkot, Thatta, and Sujawal, although the general weather in these areas will remain hot and dry.
The Meteorological Department has advised citizens to take precautions due to intense sunlight and rising humidity levels, especially by avoiding unnecessary outdoor activities during the day.
