An earthquake struck the Pishin district in Balochistan today, causing panic among residents. According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.4 in magnitude, with its epicenter located 21 kilometers southeast of Pishin at a depth of 12 kilometers.
Following the tremors, residents in various areas of Pishin rushed out of their homes in fear, reciting prayers. Fortunately, no immediate reports of casualties or property damage were received.
It is worth noting that yesterday, tremors were also felt in several areas of Karachi. According to the Seismological Center, the first quake measured 2.5 and the second 2.6 in magnitude, with the epicenter located 40 kilometers underground near DHA City.
The tremors triggered fear among Karachi residents as well, prompting many to leave their homes. Notably, since June 1, the total number of recorded earthquakes in Karachi has reached 42, raising growing concern among citizens.
