Good news for 9th-grade students as Lahore’s educational boards have extended the registration deadline for the 2026 annual examinations. This decision will benefit thousands of students from both public and private institutions.
According to a spokesperson from the Lahore Board, educational institutions can now complete the registration of 9th-grade students until July 20, 2025. With this extended deadline, both private and government candidates will be eligible to appear in the board exams scheduled for 2026.
The spokesperson further clarified that students who fail to register by the given deadline will still have the opportunity to do so from July 21 to August 4, 2025, by paying a late fee of 600 rupees.
The board has also directed all educational institutions to ensure the timely registration of students to allow for uninterrupted exam preparation.
