Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has formally approved the ‘Maarka-e-Haq’ events to be held from August 1 to 14 as part of the Independence Day celebrations. A high-level meeting in this regard was held at the Governor House in Karachi, chaired by the governor himself.
During the meeting, a detailed review of all programs under the ‘Maarka-e-Haq’ title was conducted, following which Governor Sindh granted final approval for the events. He stated that he would personally oversee the entire series of celebrations to ensure the national day is highlighted in a meaningful manner.
To ensure the successful and coordinated execution of the events, various concerned officers have been assigned specific responsibilities. The meeting was attended by the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Military Secretary, Press Secretary, Additional Secretaries, and other senior officials, who provided a detailed briefing on the arrangements.
The governor instructed that all programs for Independence Day should be organized with a patriotic spirit and public enthusiasm so that the younger generation is made aware of the sacrifices made during the Pakistan Movement.
