Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has stated that Imran Khan stands firm even after completing two years in prison and will be released through legal means—not through any secret deal.
Addressing a PTI protest rally in Buner on August 5, Barrister Gohar said that Imran Khan continues to make sacrifices for the people, democracy, and the rule of law. He stressed that the PTI founder was, is, and will remain the true leader of the party.
He further said that PTI is consistently being targeted, yet it remains the largest political party in the country. “Attempts to dismantle PTI have failed and will continue to fail,” he added.
Criticizing the government and the Election Commission, Barrister Gohar alleged that both are working in unison to weaken Imran Khan and the party by stripping it of its members, but these tactics will not succeed.
He encouraged PTI workers not to lose hope, assuring them that the struggle is for freedom and will ultimately lead to victory.
