Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs will not go in vain, and Insha’Allah (God willing), complete peace will return to Pakistan.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the public relations department of the Pakistan Army, it was stated that Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the border posts on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in South Waziristan and spoke with the soldiers present there.
The Army Chief laid a wreath of flowers at the memorial of the martyrs in Wana and also visited the operational, training, and security aspects of the formation headquarters, where he was briefed on the development work being carried out in the newly added areas.
The Army Chief highlighted the importance of creating and providing a conducive environment for social and economic development projects and reaffirmed the army’s commitment to fighting terrorism.
